For the last 30 years or so, nearly every part of my life has been intertwined with fly fishing.  It’s a hobby.  It’s a passion.  It’s a lifestyle.  It’s a job.  Nearly 25 of those years have been spent in “the business” in multiple facets of the fly fishing industry from retail to hospitality to fly tying to rod building to writing to guiding.  I own a guide business now, Fightmaster Fly Fishing, and have been operating it for more than 10 years.  In that time I have also worked as a freelance writer and created numerous articles for my monthly newsletter.  Much of that content has been collected here and new content is added at least monthly.  Soon, I’ll also add video content.  I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by.  For more information on my guide business,  visit  Fightmaster Fly Fishing.
